Millionaires in the Making: The 30-Day Blog Challenge, Day 14Posted by Jessica Oman
THEY – my bosses, co-workers, former professors, Ph.Ds, serial entrepreneurs, investors, and consultants – were wrong.
Now I don’t talk to many of THEM anymore, but there’s always a few naysayers kicking around. And now THEY say I’ve been lucky so far, but a million dollars is out of the question. That’s totally fine, because my goal is actually $2 million in annual revenue by 2016.
I’ve a lot of work to do.
Today’s question in the 30-Day Blog Challenge is:
What are two key ways you could use the habits of a millionaire to monetize your blog in the next month?
Today’s post is easy, because it’s just been done. Last week we asked our newsletter readers what one business challenge they’d like answered, in a product that cost $20 or less. The feedback we’ve received so far has been great, and it’s confirmed what we suspected all along: that you’re looking for business planning advice that’s specific to your business model, your industry, or your type of service.
Actually, we’ve shared a lot of this advice on the blog over the past couple of years. The next step is to bring that information together and connect the dots for you.
I’m not quite sure what the habits of a millionaire are, but I think one of them is getting up early. So I’m going to use this habit to find an extra hour of productivity in each day, to create the product that you most want, using some resources I’ve already created on the blog, and some more you haven’t seen yet.
We have some great blog themes coming up the rest of this year, too, that I hope will bring in more business plan reviews and also teach you some key tools for editing and analyzing your own business plan to make it more compelling and persuasive.
Hope that sounds good to you, too. Let’s become millionaires together, shall we?
